Caner Bilgin and Begüm Yılmaz Bilgin share their architectural knowledge by giving studio lectures at various universities, taking on jury duties, organizing seminars and workshops, and trying to contribute in all areas of architectural practice.
She continued to the Department of Civil Engineering at Kültür University, which she entered in 2006, by adding the department of architecture the following year through the double major program. She continued her education at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven between 2010-2011. She received her civil engineering degree in 2011 and her bachelor's degree in architecture in 2012. Between 2012-2015, she worked as a research assistant at the Department of Architecture at Kultur University. At the same time, she started her master's program at Istanbul Technical University, at the faculty of architecture. Between 2015-2019, she had the opportunity to work with Can Çinici at Çinici Architecture, and then she continues to work with Bilgin Architectural Design Office, of which she is a founding partner.
After graduating from Istanbul Erkek High Scool, he received his bachelor's degree from Istanbul Kultur University in 2009 and attended Technische Universiteit Eindhoven between 2008-2009. He received his MA from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2011.
Between 2011 and 2013, he worked with Mehmet Kütükçüoğlu and Ertuğ Uçar at Teğet Architecture. Between 2012-2019, he worked as a part-time lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University. In 2016, he took part in the Pavilion of Turkey with the installation titled Baştarda at the Venice Architecture Biennale. He has won awards in various national architectural project competitions throughout his career. He organized seminars and workshops in different universities and institutions.
The office, which has participated in 11 national architectural project competitions since its establishment, won 7 awards, 3 of which were first places, and had the opportunity to carry the competition practice to the construction stage.
